Bo's Place - Where Children are Heard and Hearts are Healed

Thanks to one of Bo's Place volunteer facilitators, David Sigler, for sharing his poem this holiday season:

You are with us….
You are with us as we celebrate this season.
You have given it a whole new reason.
We will celebrate you in thought and story.
We will remember you in all your glory.
Moments will be tough and here you will be.
Right where you started you’re here with me.
We will laugh and cry and giggle and reason.

Our crew from St. John's Upper School provided the December Holiday Lunch for our Sunday group and it was a wonderful success.  Although the weather didn't make it feel like the holidays, this group brought the festivities to life indoors.  Happy holidays to these great volunteers!

The Counseling Staff at 1801 Lexington provided our final Holiday Dinner of 2010.  The delicious Italian feast was a wonderful way to begin this festive week.  We appreciate the generosity of these individuals for their service during this busy time of year!

Our wonderful neighbors across the street at Alcon provided a wonderful holiday feast for Bo's Place families this season.  The homemade selections were delicious and it was a real treat for everyone.  We appreciate the wonderful support this company continues to provide.

The Vietnam Veterans of America, San Jacinto Chapter 343, continued their holiday tradition of providing a fabulous Mexican feast for Bo's Place families.  These friends bring a joyous atmosphere to the holiday season and we are grateful for their continued support.
