Bo's Place - Where Children are Heard and Hearts are Healed

The Daisy Girl Scout Troop 25239 from West University Elementary School donated delicious Girl Scout cookies to Bo's Place.  The families and volunteers will truly enjoy this special treat. Yum!

On Friday, May 6, 2011, the Baylor Pediatrics Student Association hosted a Parents Night Out. The Baylor Students provided the dinner, games and arts and crafts for the evening for over 30 children in the Bo's Place Grief Support Programs.   Parents Night Out is a special night for the Bo's Place parents to enjoy an evening of dining, shopping or just relaxing, while their children enjoy an evening of fun!

A very enthusiastic group of volunteers from Litton Loan Servicing spent the afternoon helping us stuff, stamp and seal over 4,000 pieces of mail for our Annual Giving Campaign.  We appreciate their time given to Bo's Place!

Thanks to all who attended last week's presentation of "The Anatomy of Resilience: Strategies for Cultivating Hope, Gratitude and Worthiness," presented by Brené Brown.  With a sold out crowd, participants had rave reviews of the material that was presented.
