Bo's Place - Where Children are Heard and Hearts are Healed

 Check out the buzz around town… Girls’ & Guys’ Night Out Benefiting Bo’s Place is featured in the Houston Chronicle and on culturemap Houston.

The Simmons Foundation recently funded a grant request, enabling Bo's Place to continue the mission of enhancing the lives of those who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  Thanks to the Simmons Foundation for their continued generosity and support of our program.

 Thanks to our event chairs for making the fourth annual Girls’ Night Out and inaugural Guys’ Night Out a wonderful success!  Lynn Russell, Kelly Russell McWherter and Whitney Bruegel Russell chaired the Girls’ event, while Craig Plumhoff, Jonathan Plumhoff and David Valentine spearheaded the Guys’ event.  We couldn’t have done it without them!  Stay tuned for recap details…

 Bo's Place is pleased to announce a new bereavement support group for young adults, ages 18-26, who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives.
 
This on-going group will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of every month.  We will begin with a potluck meal at 6:30 p.m., followed by a small group discussion at 7:00 p.m., and ending at 8:30 p.m.
 
Please contact Bo's Place for additional information or to register for the group.  All Bo's Place support groups are offered at no charge to participants.
