Williams Elementary Student Council
The student council at James Williams Elementary in Katy I.S.D. selected Bo’s Place as their philanthropic project for the 2009 spring semester. The student council, sponsored by Fifth Grade Social Studies and Language Teacher Eric Ferrara, has been a long-time supporter of Bo’s Place through the Raisin and Chip campaign. Raisin and Chip are a pair of black and brown Lab stuffed animals created for Bo’s Place in memory of Bo Neuhaus, Jr. as a fundraising effort.
The students sold the cuddly duo during the Valentine’s and Easter holidays with great success raising $700 to benefit the Children, Adult, and Family Grief Support Programs at Bo’s Place. Thank you James Williams Elementary Student Council for your continuous support of Bo’s Place!
