Bo's Buddies Young Professional Group

Bo’s Buddies is a group of service-oriented young professionals committed to promoting awareness, raising funds and providing volunteer efforts to support Bo’s Place, “Where Children are Heard and Hearts are Healed.”

Promoting Awareness
Each volunteering and fundraising effort of Bo’s Buddies is an opportunity to share the good news of who we are and how our work can positively impact the lives of those dealing with the loss of a loved one.

Fundraising
Through membership drives and social mixers, membership dues, corporate donations, and our annual Mardi Gras Bash, Bo’s Buddies donates any and all proceeds to Bo’s Place at the end of every fiscal year.

Volunteer Efforts
Members of Bo’s Buddies are responsible for volunteering to serve dinner to families attending classes at Bo’s Place on the 1st and 3rd Mondays each month.  This is a great chance to directly give your time and service to parents and children who are grieving the loss of an immediate family member.  In addition to monthly Kitchen Duty, Bo’s Buddies provide and serve a meal during the Holiday season to these same families.  Bo’s Buddies members are also asked to volunteer and attend social fundraising events that are hosted by Bo’s Place or directly for the benefit thereof.
